My most absolute favorite local grocery store. Hands down. And if you're feeling lazy they have a vast array of tasty pre-prepared foods for your picking...more than anywhere else I have found. The freshest hot food bar ever. So much to offer!!! And the customer service is top notch compared to anyone else. And my toddler can have her own little grocery cart to boot.

I love the hot food selection. Delicious and priced right. Today I tried the turkey (consistently good) with peach chutney. DELICIOUS. I always get the baked chicken which is consistently good as well. If you’re lucky, they’ll have liver and onions with grits out. Super yum.

Zuppardo's Family Market - A Supermarket That Has It All! Zuppardo's Family Market in Metairie, LA, is everything a supermarket should be and more. The atmosphere is incredibly pleasant, and even during the busy lunchtime rush, the store maintained a welcoming and energetic vibe. Every department is well-stocked, offering everything you could imagine. The deli and cafe are standout features, providing both pre-made sandwiches and meals, as well as the option to order on site and enjoy your meal in their impressive dining area. The hot food line is a fantastic deal, allowing you to build the plate you want for only 8.99 per pound. While their pre-made sandwiches looked amazing, packed with fresh deli turkey, ham, or roast beef, I couldn't justify spending 5 on a regular sandwich. Despite this, the overall quality and variety of offerings make Zuppardo's an exceptional store. Zuppardo's is an amazing market, and I will definitely be visiting again!

Love Zuppardo's. I go there once a week! The best fried chicken, potato salad is the bomb and very delicious blackberry cobbler! I also buy the Central Grocery Muffelatta's, my favorite!!!! Very convenient to get them there without having to drive to the French Quarter to Central Grocery! They have a variety of prepackaged food items, and I love the Shepherd's Pie, very tasty!!!! Oh, can't leave without the delicious cheesecake with strawberry topping!!! The customer service is excellent, and all the staff are friendly and helpful!!!!!

I’ve always had a great experience whenever I visit Zuppardo’s. The service is consistently excellent, and the store is always well-stocked with everything I need. The employees are friendly and helpful, which makes the shopping experience enjoyable. One thing I really appreciate is that there are rarely ever long lines, making it quick and convenient to get in and out. It’s clear that the team at Zuppardo’s takes pride in maintaining a high standard of service and quality. This is definitely one of my go-to spots!

I really enjoy my experience at this supermarket. I see advertised sometime on the news channel and I passed by a lot actually grew up not too far from the community so after being in Metairie the other night, I decided to stop there and get me some fresh sausage because I really believe that I would get the experience that I was looking for and I definitely did. Big family owned store with a huge selection of national and local (Southern regional) brands. Almost always busy! Has sushi section, meat department, seafood department, wine/cheese department, floral section.... Has a big wine/beer selection. Friendly helpful staff and usually easy to find someone to help you.

This new Zuppardo’s is amazing, it’s a smaller footprint than other big local chains, but you can find anything you need. They have a large produce department, a good meat department, a very nice wine selection, an always busy deli counter and hot meals to go. If you see an item you’d like them to carry you can let them know. Sadly they still do not carry Bill E’s Bacon though.
